New about me section! I’ve been pushing this off for so long but I really wanted a cool about me section so I finally just did it. It was inspired by Sarah’s awesome about me section! ;)

Lately (when I actually have time), I’ve been working to get my design site, Shattered Memories Designs, open. It’s not open just yet but I hope for it to be soon! Once it is open, you’ll be able to order graphics from me for a reasonable price.

Also, to any of you that are fans of the book Hush, Hush, I am opening a fansite, Falling for the Fallen, for it pretty soon and I also have a livejournal community for it, Hush, Hush Fans, so if you’re are a fan of the book be sure to keep checking the site for when it opens and go join the community!

I’ve also been real busy trying to get a new look for the site and switch over to Wordpress. It’s been taking a lot longer than I thought it would so for now, you guys get a different layout than originally planned. Since I haven’t figured out Wordpress yet, I got rid of the Cutenews and downloaded FanUpdate. Cutenews was a pain with all the spam. FanUpdate has seemed to be real easy so far and I’m loving it. I’m still eventually going to switch everything over to Wordpress and get that layout up but while I’m working on it I figured I might as well make you guys something pretty to look at.

Big news people! I have acquired 3 new hostees and 3 fanlistings! My friend, Sam, has decided to go completely offline so she wanted to make sure her hostees and fanlistings were taken care of, so she gave them to me. Please welcome Crismary, Sophie & Elle! Elle wasn’t one of Sam’s hostees as some of you may already know. Her host had vanished so I offered to host her.

To Love Jace/Clary. This is one of my challenges from Marilyne. She didn’t think I made enough TMI art and I agree. So what she wanted was a piece that just really expressed the painful side of Jace and Clary’s relationship. She also wanted a lot of use of red.

Always Knew Edward/Bella. This is the challenge Lindsay gave me. She chose my stocks and pictures and told me to make something that looked like her style of art.
Someone New Elena Gilbert. I thought this scene was an important one and what I was trying to do with the line between the two Elena’s was show how she wanted to be someone new. The left side is her before and the right side is her after when her pact to be someone new starts.
Dirty Little Secret Alec/Magnus. This was my challenge from Marie. She chose my stocks and pictures. There are two versions of this wall because I wasn’t that happy with the first one.
My Personal Sun Jacob/Bella. Another of Marilyne’s challenges for me. She chose my stocks and gave me a assortment of pictures of Jacob and Bella from the movie companion to choose from.

Time Buffy/Angel. My first ever Angel piece! I just loved this episode, even though it was really sad.
Sort of Beautiful Bella/Jacob. I.CAN’T.FREAKING.WAIT.FOR.THIS.MOVIE! I know I’m an Edward girl but I mean come on, what girl in their right mind couldn’t like Taylor Lautner?! And can I say something? Dayuummm, that kid is built! Anyways, I just love this scene!

The Sun Jacob/Bella. I personally love this photo so I definitely had to art it. I love the colors and how bright they are.
The War Supernatural. I made this for a challenge over at Creative Daily. The whole point of the picture is supposed to be glaring contrast. Mine is good vs. evil and light and dark. Dean represents good and is shown on the light side of the picture because he is constantly fighting for good. Sam and Ruby are depicted in the darker side representing the struggle Sam has with the evil within himself and her always enticing him to it. There are two lightning bolts separating both Sam and Ruby from Dean, the lighter golden one is Dean’s and the darker of the two is Sam and Ruby’s. I wanted to show the contrast between the two brothers and how they each feel the path they’ve chosen is the right one.
A Darkness Jacob/Bella. Ugh! I love this picture of Jacob. He’s just so freaking gorgeous. Lol, anyway, now that I’m over my Jacob swooning, I thought the picture went perfectly with the words. He really does look like he has a darkness in him with the look that’s on his face. He looks really intense.

I had this new idea for the icons, since the script to organize them I was using was making them go all over the place with my coding. So I now have a separate Icon Archive. It’s still under the same link, but it has it’s own layout. Before the icons were interfering with my menu and I tried everything to fix it but the way the script is wouldn’t let me. So the Icon Archive is all nicely organized. Oh and I added like 12 Kstew icons.

I’m so excited, I finally added my first SOTM! It’s Amy @ Sweet Escape. Her site is currently under construction, but I was naughty and I peeked ;)! But I promise you guys it’s going to be amazing!

So as you can all see I took away the link to my Deviant Art. The reason to that is because I decided to cancel my account because I can’t stand adding the art on there and I just thought it was really boring. So from now on I’ll just be adding my art here and at my lj.

Now, a few things on the site are screwed up but I’m too tired to fix it right now and I really need a break from the computer. But the pages that are all messed up is the BTVS page and the affiliates page. So I suggest if you want to look at the new walls you just go to recent art because on the regular page their all overlapping for some unknown reason. HTML can be such a pain sometimes! I PROMISE I will have it fixed sometime soon.

Oh and the people who commented on the news section, I answered you back but please next time just tag me instead, because I barely noticed there were comments and I would have felt really bad if I never answered you :).

I also changed a lot on the site. And I mean a lot. Like recoded the whole website. I noticed on the first layout the whole thing was messed up in Internet Explorer, so I’m sorry all you IE users for it being like that. But now I’ve recoded everything so that it looks good in all browsers. I pulled an all-nighter trying to fix everything, so it should be perfect because my eyeballs are about to fall out of their sockets O_o.

Bad Guy An E/B piece. The text is from the book though, not the movie. I made this wallpaper before and I just hated the way it came out and decided to not put it up and just try to make it again later. But I like the way this one came out.
Snack Another Twilight scene. I made this one before too but hated the way it came out. The pictures just weren’t blending well and I couldn’t get it to work, but I finally think it came out alright.
Sex On Fire 2 This is a manipulation. I just love making wallpapers of Emmett and Rosalie, I think their a fun couple. I know I already had a Sex On Fire wallpaper of Emmett and Rosalie, but I think the song goes with them and plus I wanted one that was fiery. I really like the way it came out. The only thing that really bothers me is the way Rosalie’s hand on Emmett’s chest is. The hand on the base was really faded around the edges so no matter what I did, I couldn’t fix it. But overall, I like it.
Worth It This is a Jasper and Bella scene from the book. I really loved this scene between the two of them and I wish they would have put it in the movie, especially with how little scenes Jasper had.
Smile My first True Blood piece, yay ;) ! I just knew Jessica was gonna end up liking Hoyt and not eating him! I really like them as a couple and I love how sweet Hoyt is after he finds out she’s really a vampire.

I also added a manip of Rosalie, which is the one I used in Sex On Fire 2. I’m pretty happy with the way it came out.

Can’t Have Me *Spoilery* This piece is a Harper’s Island wallpaper of Chloe and Cal. They were definitely my favorite couple on the show so I just had to art them. Definitely DO NOT look at this or the next Chloe/Cal one if you have not watched the episode and don’t want to be spoiled.

Burn in Hell An E/B wallpaper. The whole thing is supposed to be this dark thing, but Bella is brighter because she is supposed to be what Edward is concentrating on from where he is in the darker area. Basically he’s just thinking he’ll destroy everything he touches and he doesn’t want to corrupt someone as pure as Bella.
The Last Time Ughh, this scene makes me soo mad. Stupid Edward! He needs to be smacked. Anyways, I just really wanted to do a piece from the new trailer.

And as for the goodies… I just put the link there, I haven’t really decided on if I want to have any or not since I suck at making textures and brushes, so I guess we’ll see but I probably won’t put any up unless I miraculously start making them a hell of a lot better.
